Terms of Service
By using DriveHub, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
DriveHub is a Malaysia-based online marketplace that connects buyers, sellers, renters, and roadside service providers for vehicles, parts, and related services. References to "DriveHub", "we", or "us" refer to DriveHub Malaysia.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or transact on DriveHub.
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
- Business sellers must be lawfully registered to operate in Malaysia.
3. Marketplace role
DriveHub is a venue. We do not own, sell, or rent the vehicles, parts, or services listed. Contracts are formed directly between users. We do not hold buyer funds and do not act as escrow.
4. Listings
- All listings require admin approval before becoming public.
- Sellers must upload supporting documents (e.g. JPJ vehicle grant, registration card, dealership license, or rental business license) where applicable.
- Misleading photos, false specifications, or undisclosed defects breach these Terms.
- Prohibited: stolen vehicles, vehicles without lawful title, weapons, smuggled parts, and any item restricted under Malaysian law.
5. Acceptable use
- No spam, scraping, automated mass-listing, or impersonation.
- Communicate respectfully. Harassment, threats, or discriminatory language results in suspension.
- You are responsible for compliance with the Road Transport Act 1987, Consumer Protection Act 1999, and any applicable JPJ regulations.
6. Fees
DriveHub is currently free to use during soft launch in Malaysia. We may introduce fees for premium placements or business accounts in future, with at least 14 days' written notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, DriveHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from transactions between users. Our aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed the fees that user has paid to DriveHub in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, our Seller Policy, or applicable law, with or without notice depending on severity. Users may close their account at any time by emailing support.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Kuala Lumpur have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save where the Consumer Protection Act 1999 grants a consumer the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
